This page explains how to request deletion of your Foundry account and the personal data associated with it, and what happens to that data when you do.
Delete your account from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Foundry app:
- Open the Foundry app and sign in.
- Go to your Profile (account) screen.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm with your password when prompted.
Your account and associated personal content are then permanently removed, as described below.
Or request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us at support@lifecitypdx.com from the email address on your Foundry account and ask us to delete your account. To protect your account, we may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will process verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete or de-identify the personal data tied to your account, including:
- Your account information - name, email address, date of birth, and phone number - and your authentication record.
- Your user-generated content - journal entries, Bible reflections, homework responses, and voice notes.
- Your relationship data - mentor↔student pairings and organization membership.
Personal content is deleted or de-identified within 30 days of your request.
What we keep, and for how long
We retain a limited set of records longer only where necessary, and no longer than the law requires:
- Purchase and subscription records - kept for financial, tax, and accounting purposes.
- Moderation reports and enforcement actions - kept for safety, abuse-prevention, and legal-compliance purposes.
- Aggregate, de-identified analytics - retained only in a form that can no longer be linked to you.
Note: Deleting your Foundry account does not cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions separately in your store account settings.
